CHURCH & MINISTRY LEADERSHIP
Develop the leaders your mission depends on.
Leadership formation, ministry team coaching, and mentoring multiplication for churches, ministries, and Christian institutions across the Caribbean and North America.

THE PROBLEM
Most churches do not have a willingness problem.
They have a formation problem. Faithful people are placed in leadership faster than they are formed for it, and the cost shows up in tired pastors, burned-out volunteers, and ministries that stall when one leader steps away. We form leaders who can carry the work, and hand it on.
HOW WE ENGAGE
Three ways to engage
MINISTRY LEADERSHIP WORKSHOP
LEADERSHIP FORMATION COHORT
CHURCH LEADERSHIP PARTNERSHIP
A focused, high-impact session that strengthens your leaders fast. Half or full day, for elder boards, ministry heads, and serve teams.
A structured program that builds a culture of formation and accountability. Six to twelve weeks, including the 12-week covenant mentoring model.
A deep engagement across leadership culture, team health, and succession. Multi-month, for churches and ministries building a pipeline that outlasts any one leader.
HOW IT WORKS
How the work unfolds
01
DISCOVER
A ministry health and leadership diagnostic, and a clear picture of where you stand.
02
DEVELOP
The core work: workshops, coaching, and leadership team sessions.
03
EMBED
Practice and accountability that make the change stick
04
MULTIPLY
Equip your leaders to form others also (2 Timothy 2:2), so the work continues without us.
WHO WE SERVE
Built for those who carry the weight of ministry.
→ Pastors leading full congregations with few prepared leaders beside them.
→ Churches where willing volunteers serve without formation or a clear pathway.
→ Elder boards and ministry teams that need to align and decide well.
→ Ministries and Christian institutions raising leaders for the next generation.
Meet Your Guide
Derick B. Davis
I have spent more than 30 years leading in two rooms most people think are worlds apart: the boardroom and the church. As a pastor, I shepherd Deep Calls to Deep. As President of Haggai Trinidad and Tobago, I train Christian leaders for national influence. And for over 20 years I developed leaders inside T&TEC, one of Trinidad and Tobago's largest institutions.
That mix matters, because your church does not need theory. It needs leaders formed in character, clear in calling, and able to carry real responsibility. Equipping the saints for the work of ministry is not a program. It is the assignment (Ephesians 4:12). That is the work I help you do.

WHAT CHANGES
What your church gets back.
→ Leaders formed in character who can carry real responsibility, not just fill rosters.
→ Ministries that keep moving when a key leader steps away.
→ A mentoring culture that multiplies: leaders forming leaders (2 Timothy 2:2).
→ A pastor who is no longer carrying the weight alone.
FROM THE FIELD
One church. A culture of multiplication in motion.
In February 2026, Purposeful Living delivered the Discipleship Mentorship Training to forty-one leaders and members of the Wesleyan Holiness Church, equipping them to launch twelve-week covenant mentoring in their congregation. Here is what their leaders said:
"The simplicity and practical tools to assist with being a mentor."
- Pastor Bascombe · Wesleyan Holiness Church
"I expect to see a shift from 'passive attendance' to active multiplication. By following the 2 Timothy 2:2 model, we should see mentees who are not only more consistent in their spiritual habits (Word and prayer) but are also actively identifying the next person they can invest in, creating a sustainable pipeline of reliable leaders moving forward."
- Rozelle · Church Leader, Wesleyan Holiness Church
FIT
This is not for every church.
→ Churches looking for another program to announce rather than a culture to build.
→ Ministries seeking a quick event with no follow-through.
→ Leaders who want volunteers managed rather than people formed.
→ Teams unwilling to be honest about where things really stand.
QUESTIONS
Answers before you ask.
Q: How long does an engagement run?
A: Workshops run a half or full day. Formation cohorts run six to twelve weeks, including the 12-week covenant mentoring model. Partnerships run several months.
Q: Is this biblically grounded?
A: Yes. The work is Scripture-rooted, Christ-centered, and built for the local church. It is formation, not just training.
Q: What does it cost?
A: By proposal. Tell us about your church through the form and we will send a tailored scope and investment. We work with congregations of different sizes and means.
Q: We are an organization, not a church. Is there a lane for us?
A: Yes: Corporate & Organizational Leadership, the business-first expression of the same methodology.
